Our History
Founded in 1989, Farsley Celtic Badminton Club originally started as ‘The Saints’ when they moved to the sports hall beside Farsley Celtic Football Club. Over the years, the club evolved—changing its name to Farsley Celtic Saints before settling on the current title. Even though the football club rebranded to Farsley AFC in 2010, our badminton club proudly retained ‘Celtic’ in our name.
The club boasts a rich history of success, with our earliest recorded league title dating back to 1973 under The Saints banner. Since then, we’ve proudly won over 50 league titles and cup competitions, reflecting our strong competitive spirit.
