Izzy Roads is the dedicated manager of the FC Farsley Women’s First Team, officially confirmed in June 2024 alongside assistants Jahsiah Donaldson and Conor Cowan. A passionate lifelong supporter, Izzy has been a familiar face at FC Farsley matches long before stepping into a leadership role as part of the coaching staff.
Under his guidance, FC Farsley Women secured back-to-back promotions, achieving a strong finish in Division 1 and earning a place in the Premier Division for the 2024–25 season. Early in that season, his squad dominated the West Riding Premier Division, topping the table after emphatic wins such as a 6–2 away victory over Wyke Wanderers and a 4–1 triumph at Morley Town. More standout performances followed—including a commanding 4–0 win at Ilkley Town, where Izzy praised his players as “proper footballers” and celebrated their outstanding team ethic.
A fixture of the match-day stands before taking charge, Izzy embodies a genuine love for both men’s and women’s football in Farsley, bringing lived experience as a supporter into his coaching philosophy. Club director Sue Hawkshaw praised him as a standout candidate with unmatched passion and exemplary representation of the club’s values.
Beyond the pitch, Izzy is known among fans and colleagues for being a devoted Harry Potter fan, often sharing his enthusiasm for the films when not focused on training or match preparations.
Izzy Roads combines deep-rooted club loyalty with a clear vision for growth—prioritising coaching excellence, team ethos, and strong ties between players, supporters, and the wider FC Farsley community.
